The Sidney Guides and Scouts invite the community to honour their hall, where youth have been meeting for nearly a century. Former guides and scouts are welcome to attend in uniform, or bring along photos, campfire blankets or other memorabilia.
At 6 p.m., guests can expect entertainment from the youth, campfire songs, cake and words from graduates of both organizations. Food will be provided by The Bannock Room and the Sidney Lions food trailer. Young visitors will be kept engaged with games and crafts. A badge trading table will be available.
The Sidney Museum will be on site to share historical documents, photos and objects to help tell the hall’s story.

Sidney Street Market

The Sidney Street Market is back with vendors, food, and entertainment along Beacon Avenue.
Visit the Sidney Museum’s table just outside our doors in front of the Olde Post Office Building, on the block between Fourth and Fifth Streets. We’ll have information about the museum, our button maker, Touch & Learn table, and gift shop items.

Sidney PRIDE Festival

At this year’s family friendly PRIDE event there will be vendors, food trucks, performers, storytime, and more. The festival will be held at the Beacon Bandshell at the end of Beacon St.
The Sidney Museum will have a booth with information on the LGBTQ+ history on the Peninsula as well as out button maker and Touch & Learn table.

10th Annual Seaside Magazine Charity Road Hockey Tournament

Canada Day Family Fun Fair

After the parade down Beacon Avenue, continue the fun at Iroquois Park where there will be activities, games, and entertainment for all ages. Enjoy classic carnival games, giant yard games, face painting, bouncy fun, delicious food vendors, and live entertainment throughout the afternoon.
